- Attraction: Ningaloo Reef region

- Description: The reef is 260 km long and is Australia's largest fringing coral reef and the only large reef positioned very close to a landmass. It is known for its seasonal feeding concentrations of the whale shark. Although most famed for its whale sharks which feed there during March to June, the reef is also rich in coral and other marine life. During the winter months, the reef is part of the migratory routes for dolphins, dugongs, manta rays and humpback whales.The beaches of the reef are an important breeding ground of the loggerhead, green and hawksbill turtles

- Description: Bibbawarra Bore is a fascinating sight, imagine the spectacle of hot water gushing from a natural 914 metre deep bore. Tthe remains of these impressive 175 metre troughs were used to transport the ground water to sheep and cattle, which cooled along the way.

- Description: The Kennedy Range is an eroded plateau on the rim of the Gascoyne River catchment, about 150 kilometres east of Carnarvon. It extends for roughly 195 kilometres in a northerly direction from near Gascoyne Junction. The park offers spectacular scenery of gorges and precipitous faces, with a vast plateau of ancient dunefields on top of the range. The area still retains a wilderness feeling, and camping beneath the stark sandstone cliffs is an experience not to be missed.

- Description: Rocky Pool is a freshwater pool near Carnarvon. This picturesque setting makes for a wonderful day trip. Inviting waters thanks to the year round warm climate make this pool an ideal place for a swim. Take in the beautiful ghost gum trees, the tranquil waters or explore the shallow pools for fossils that have been washed down from the Kennedy Ranges. Picnic and barbecuefacilties are provided. Rocky Pool offers an opportunity to relax and appreciate the beautiful tranquil environment.

- Description: The Quobba coast stretches from Point Quobba to Red Bluff is renowned for exceptional fishing, walking, snorkelling and spectacular rugged scenery. The Quobba blowholes will "blow you away" as they spout 20 meters into the air
- Attraction: Carnarvon Tramway

- Description: The tramway was built to link the town and The One Mile Jetty which was built in 1897. Today the tramway offers a 3km walking and cycling trail between Olivia Terrace in Carnarvon and the heritage precinct around One Mile Jetty. The railway line has been rebuilt and the trail runs beside the rails.

- Description: Take a drive out to the site of this massive satellite dish and marvel at the 29.5 metre diameter of the reflector. The building is not open to the public; however you can visit the site and enjoy the panoramic views of Carnarvon and the surrounding plantations.
- Attraction: One Mile Jetty

- Description: The longest jetty in the northwest of Western Australia. It is a great spot for fishing for Tailor and Mulloway and an assortment of other fish. At 1,493 metres in length, its a great walk andyou can catch the Coffee Pot train back if you dont want to walk back. Enjoy a magnificent sunset over the water too.
